AS I WRITE THIS, it appears that the Republican Party will take control of the House of Representatives, though that has not been officially decided yet. But things could change. If they do win the House, it won't be by as big a margin as they had hoped, but a win's a win.
The Republicans do have a path to win the Senate as well, albeit only with 51 seats (which is what I predicted about a week ago). Nothing is definite here yet, either. IF Laxalt holds on and wins Nevada, and Blake Masters loses Arizona (both happening at this writing), that will give the Republicans 50 seats and the Democrats 49.
The runoff election in Georgia on December 6 will obviously be crucial. Hang on to your seats.
