Biden claims to be a Catholic and maybe that church accepts him in good standing. Catholicism is considered part of the Christian religion, which means people who are members of that church are considered “Christians.” Whatever his position in the Catholic Church, Joe Biden is nowhere near being a follower of Jesus Christ, and when he claims to be so he is lying, and is a hypocrite at best.
People who are true Christians faithfully follow the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus’ words are revealed in the New Testament, so the Old Testament law, which was written for Jews and is full of laws and ordinances that pertain to that religion, are not binding upon the followers of Jesus. He nailed that law to the cross (Col. 2:15; Heb. 10:9). However, in the Old Testament, we still learn much about the nature of God and what pleases and displeases Him. Thus, every rule which establishes God’s essence and nature, taught in the Old Testament, is still true and does not need to be repeated in the New Testament. Specific Jewish laws, like animal sacrifices and festivals, are not enjoined upon the followers of Christ today. But the nature of God has not changed (Malachi 3:6).
Biden, apparently for a second time (see my article elsewhere in this blog, “God is a Tranny”) has claimed that transgender people are “created in the image of God.” This is nauseous, and a direct repudiation of Christian teaching, which Biden is supposed to believe in and follow. It indicates that Mr. Biden cares not one whit what God or the Bible says about anything. Let’s take a look at a few verses, Old Testament and New, regarding man and woman and related matters.
1. Marriage is between a man and a woman. In Mark 10:6-8, Jesus taught, “From the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” Pretty clear. God created “male and female” (see Genesis 1 and 2). Men are men and women are women. God decided that, and I can no more be a “woman” than I can be a dog. Jesus further plainly declared that marriage is between men and women: “A man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife.” Obviously, a woman is a “wife,” not a man. I can no more be somebody’s wife than I can be a woman (or a dog). Anyone who accepts Jesus as Lord accepts these teachings. They are final. Transgenderism is a sin as is homosexual marriage. Anybody who denies this denies God and His Son, Jesus Christ, and is not a faithful Christian.
2. Both Old and New Testament condemn homosexuality. Leviticus 18:22 reads, “You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. It is an abomination.” Homosexuality is an abomination to God. He goes further: “If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them” (Leviticus 20:13). Homosexuality was a capital crime under the Mosaic law. Now, again, we, as Christians, do not live under Jewish law today, and thus the “capital” nature of homosexuality is not binding upon us. But this does surely tell us what God thinks of it. It is a disgusting abomination to Jehovah, worthy of death.
The New Testament is equally clear on God’s condemnation of homosexuality: “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do no be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God” (I Corinthians 6:9-10; see also Romans 1:26-28; I Timothy 1:10). Homosexuals and sodomites “will not inherit the kingdom of God.” That is Paul’s clear teaching. Ignore it at your open peril.
Some have tried to argue, “Yeah, well, that’s Paul. He was a bigot. Jesus never condemned homosexuality.” Yes, He did. “For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled” (Matthew 5:18). Jesus plainly upheld and defended the Law of Moses, to the last “jot” and “tittle” (the two smallest characters in the Hebrew language). As we have seen, the Law of Moses condemns homosexuality. Jesus lived under the Law and supported every word of it. To argue that Jesus condoned homosexuality in the face of the Moses’ condemnation is a ridiculous argument to begin with. It is simply an excuse to justify what someone wants to do anyway.
3. The purity of the sanctity between man and woman must be honored. The Law of Moses condemns any trace of “transvestitism”: “A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 22:5). Men are men, women are women. That is the way God created humans. And any attempt to be what you are not, even to the wearing of the clothes of the opposite sex, is “an abomination to the Lord your God.”
Mr. Biden,
and the Left, can ignore this, of course, and they do. They hate the Judeo-Christian moral code and
want to destroy Christianity. So be
it. The people in the first century didn’t
like Jesus or His teaching, either, so they killed Him to shut Him up. Unfortunately for them (and Leftists), He came
out of that tomb, proving He is indeed God, and stated clearly that all men
will be judged by His words (John 12:48).
God is longsuffering and wants all men to repent (II Peter 3:9). Some homosexuals did (I Corinthians 6:10),
and we hope they all will do so today.
But, if they don’t, they will have an opportunity to explain to God why
they totally ignored His clear teaching on man and woman and sexual
matters. Joe Biden can spit in God’s
face and claim that transgender people are created in His image. But Joe, you are 80 years old. It isn’t going to be very long before you
meet God face to face. I would suggest
you do an about-face before it is too late.
I’m not going to hold my breath waiting, though.
