Of course, America is currently overrun with these barbarians, probably worse than at any time in our history. As Gilder shows in his book, it has largely been the role of women to “civilize” these barbarians through marriage and procreation. Such makes husbands, fathers, protectors, and providers of men, gives him a purpose--the very essence of his God-given nature. That isn’t happening today because feminism has destroyed the traditional roles of women, blurring the distinction between the sexes, trying to turn women into men, and thus confusing men as to what their true nature and purpose in a civilized society is. This confusion of roles caused by the Left is at the core of the socializing problems in Western civilization today. Men are told they can be women, women are told they can be men, but psychologically, historically, spiritually, and by every other measure, they know this cannot be so. Thus, mass confusion and distortion, and the resultant societal chaos. Barbarism.
Destroy the nuclear family and you destroy the most important civilizing institution a society can have. Nothing else has ever been able to do it--anywhere or at any time.
It will not end until this experiment in Leftism is crushed and assigned to the ash heap of history. But the cost will have been hundreds of millions, maybe billions of lives, before humanity realizes the huge mistake it is now making.
