I got news for you, Liz.  No decent Republican considers you a member of the party now.

There is a Time to Call a Spade a Spade, And There is a Time for Compassion

            Monsters exist in the world today, folks, some vicious dragons, that need to be slain.  Or, to put it simply, this planet has a lot of evil people on it.  Tragically, more and more of them are visible in the United States.  That fact cannot, must not, be denied or ignored.  This is a serious matter, survival is at stake, and the issue must be confronted head-on.

            We know from history that appeasing evil doesn’t work.  Evil people only interpret appeasement as weakness, and it inspires them to redouble their blood-lust efforts to conquer.  They, like Hitler and every other malevolent ogre in history, have one goal—victory at any price.  Compromise is not in their dictionary, only total conquest, regardless of any cost.

            There is certainly a time to be benevolent, to show compassion, to reach out.  But there is also a time to call a spade a spade.  We face a serious enemy inside America now, one who will destroy our country if we don’t stop them.  Forget about external enemies at present.  Like Rome, no barbarians will scale our walls until we demonstrate a lack of will to defend ourselves.  Within America, the enemy, the evil I am talking about, is the leadership of the Democratic Party.  Unlike what some Republicans and Americans seem to believe, they are not “nice people” who are just “mistaken” or have “different opinions.”  No.  They are malicious, malevolent, godless fiends, who must be opposed and destroyed.  Joe Biden is evil.  Nancy Pelosi is evil.  Kamala Harris is evil.  Chuck Schumer is evil.  Gavin Newsome is evil.  Most of the “mainstream media” are evil.  Nothing short of it.  Now, on the other hand, I don’t think Mitch McConnell is evil.  Mitch is just a weak man in an era that calls for strength, a useful idiot, a pusillanimous dishrag who wants to hold onto whatever little fiefdom the Washington establishment will allow him to have.  But the Democrats at the top are totally Satanic.  We do no one any favors by pretending they are something other than what they truly are.  People who knowingly lie, kill, and deceive, all for political gain, are evil, not “mistaken.”   Like communists in the USSR, China, and elsewhere, nothing, even the death of millions, the mutilation of children, the abandonment of law and order, the destruction of property, even knowingly lying about the climate, absolutely nothing must stand in their way of gaining power and establishing their earthly “utopia.”  It’s victory for them, or death.  No compromise.

            Yet, violence in opposition is not an option for decent Americans, except in self-defense.  We are not Democrats.  We are better than they are. Violence should be anathema to us.  Let Jesus, as always, be our model.  He, on one occasion, pounded the scribes and Pharisees:  “Woe to you…hypocrites…serpents, brood of vipers!  How can you escape the condemnation of hell?”  On another occasion (apparently twice), he drove the filthy money-grubbers out of the house of God.  He did those things to show the innocent masses exactly who, and what, these demons were.  But then, to a woman caught in the very act of adultery, his tender message was, “Go, and sin no more.”  Jesus didn’t deny she had sinned, and he didn’t condone it.  He simply showed compassion when he knew that was the best course.  And he called a spade a spade when that was warranted.   It is the perfect example for us to emulate.

            I think we conservatives need to be aware, or at least try to believe, that not all people who vote for Democrats are evil, disgusting scum.  Many of them are pleasant people who just don’t know any better—“sheep without a shepherd.”  They have been mis-educated, brainwashed, by truly evil leftists who control public schools and the media, and it is our job to patiently try to re-educate them, and point them in the right direction.  Many of them have indeed made up their minds and are beyond reach.  But not all.  And it is up to you and me to find those who are redeemable and try our best to turn them back to truth and virtue.  I’m not talking about George W. Bush’s “compassionate conservatism” here; that was a farce.  I’m talking about using wisdom.  I’m not sure Donald Trump ever quite understood that, and it might have cost him the presidency in 2020.  But then, I’m not sure I have a full grasp of how to do it, either.  But, as best we can, we need to expose evil where it exists, and try to heal wounds through compassion when we are able to do that.

            Frankly, and sadly, Joe Biden is not the answer.  He is a less-than-mediocre man in a time that calls for greatness.  Biden is a stupid, wicked man who has no clue how to unite people.  It takes a great person to rise above the fray, to lead, to change minds, to reach out and make friends out of enemies.  Few can do it, but we really need some of them right now.  Joe Biden is the absolute antithesis of that.

            We must not compromise with evil.  A cancer that is not removed will kill.  A 30% rotten apple needs surgery as well or soon the whole barrel will be inedible.  Be compassionate towards those who need compassion.  Destroy that which need destruction.  And give a swift kick to those (McConnell, Graham, Romney) who need a swift kick.    

            It isn’t an easy task.  Jesus did it as well as anyone ever could.  And yet, even he was killed by his own nation within the space of three short years.

            No easy task, indeed.  But an essential one to save our country.

Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog.  My name is Mark Lewis and I currently live in Thailand.  You don't care about that, you just want to see if there is anything interesting here to see or do.  Well, I post things that interest me.  A lot of these posts will also be on Townhall.com, but some of them won't.  So, if you like my stuff on Townhall, you can check here occasionally to see if there is anything that isn't posted there.  The first two articles here aren't on Townhall so enjoy.  I've got a lot of work to do on this blog, which I probably won't do.  This isn't a blog on aesthetics, it's a blog for people to read.  It looks nice enough as it is, maybe I'll play with it some more in my spare time.

Science Says WHAT??

            Professor Micheline Matthews-Roth of Harvard University Medical School: “It is incorrect to say that biological data cannot be decisive….It is scientifically correct to say that an individual human life begins at conception…Our laws, one function of which is to help preserve the lives of our people, should be based on accurate scientific data.”

            Scientifically correct?

            Scientific data?

            Science?

            SCIENCE???

            HARVARD?????

            Say it ain’t so, Joe!

            NonononoNOOOOOO!  Science is only allowed to say what the Democratic Party says it can say.  Like, our ancestors slithered out of the basement of some primeval outhouse.  Or, that the Covid vaccines will prevent you from getting the virus, as will a mask around your nozzle.  Or, that humans are causing the planet to burn to a crisp by driving SUVs and eating cows. 

            That’s what “science” says.

            Science can’t possibly say human life begins at conception, it is only permitted to say what Joe Biden, Nancy Botox, Anthony Elf and the Democratic Party approve of.

            “The beginning of a single human life is from a biological point of view a simple and straightforward matter--the beginning is conception,” (Dr. Watson A. Bowes, University of Colorado Medical School).

            Well, it is quite obvious that some medicine and biology have become extreme and fascist.  Trump Biology.  That explains it.

            No, it doesn’t, and Republicans need to quit running away from abortion like scared chickens.  Stand and fight for a change, you wimps.  The Democrats say they believe in science—except when the science turns against them.  Then they resort to shouting, intimidation—and violence.  “We believe in democracy and Republicans are trying to destroy it!”  But, strangely, Democrats are the ones wanting to use the power of the federal government to ram their unscientific beliefs down the throats of Americans, giving the PEOPLE no say in the matter.  That isn’t democracy, that’s tyranny, true fascism and extremism.  What are the Democrats afraid of in letting the PEOPLE decide what the PEOPLE want?

            If abortion is as popular as Democrats claim, then why are they so paranoid to put that popularity to the test and let the people vote on it?

            Well, one thing they might be afraid of is science.

            They also fear that most Americans will not agree to let them kill the baby in the womb up to, and even beyond, the time of birth.  That is what abortionists really want.  Total control.  Such is their objective, and they know the American people, democratically, will never endorse it.  So they demand the federal government force their views on every American by federal law.  They do not trust the people (leftists never do), they only trust the far-left radical wing of the Democratic Party.  And if they tell a BIG LIE loudly and long enough, they might be able to convince enough people.

            Like “democratic” Hitler did.

            They only trust “science” when “science” supports their ideological fabrications.

            Abortion is the left’s god.  It is their Holy Grail.  It is the one thing, above all else, that defines modern-day American liberalism, one thing they will not compromise on, one thing they demand that the rest of Americans submit to their radical longings.  “It’s my body!”  Forget the fact that SCIENCE says the creature in the womb has 46 chromosomes instilled at conception, half of which come from the father.  Forget the fact that SCIENCE says gender, hair color, eye color and a whole host of other traits are established at conception.   Forget the fact that SCIENCE says there is a third person involved here, a living being that, given a CHOICE (democracy?), more often than not will choose life outside the womb.  To the left, abortion belongs to left-wing women, ONLY to left-wing women, and only left-wing women should be allowed to decide.  Well, if that thing in the womb were only a fingernail, then yeah, ok, the woman can get some nail clippers and whack it off if she wants to.  And if that thing in the womb is nothing more than a blob of meat, fine, she can have that, too.  Eat it.

            But science says…

            Senator Maize Hirono of Hawaii issued a “call to arms” over abortion.  Ohio Democratic Senatorial candidate Tim Ryan insists America “kill” the MAGA movement.  The left loves killing things

            Non-violent language.

            Well, Maize and Tim, I suggest you better get ready and dry your powder.  You don’t frighten or intimidate us one bit.

            Well, that might not be true.  Mitch McConnell and gutless Republicans are probably hiding under their beds right now.

            But I, for one, am tired of the quavering in front of these loud-mouthed, conscience-less leftist barbarians.  Of course they believe in abortion in opposition to all scientific data.  They couldn’t care less what science says.  The left only believes in one thing—power.  And if the last 250 years of history are any indication, it is totally inconsequential to them how many innocent people they must butcher, outside or inside the womb, to gain the dominance over others they lust for.  They don’t care about science, or babies, or truth, or you, or anything except having the power to pursue their own selfish, hedonistic pleasures.  And they need total dominance to do that because most people are decent and will not pander to everything the left wants.  Democracy would prevent it.  That’s why the left believes in totalitarianism—with themselves in charge.  Then, if you get in the way, no one can stop them from “disappearing” you in whatever manner they decide.

            Abortion is just a symptom, folks.  The disease is the lust, the craving, the insatiable, unquenchable, unappeasable appetite to dominate the world.

            Keep your powder dry.
